Knowledge of the cave fauna of Koytendag is limited (for the cave fauna of Central Asia see Decu et al. 2019). Published records comprise only 26 species of invertebrates: Protozoa (15); Gastropoda (2); Crustacea (Copepoda) (3); Crustacea (Malacostraca) (3); Coleoptera (2) and Psocoptera (1) plus the endemic blind loach
