Abstract:
Møller, Schwarzhans and Nielsen (2005) reviewed Ogilbia and noted that all of the numerous Galapagos Ogilbia they examined proved to be Ogilbia deroyi. Curiously, they could find no specimens of Ogilbia galapagosensis in museums (the types are lost), but there is a photograph by Tui DeRoy in Grove and Lavenberg (1997, p. 223, fig.113) and this species apparently occurs only in a few shoreline cave systems on Santa Cruz
